Operations and Growth Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

SLO Down inc., a start-up winery based in San Francisco is currently seeking an experienced business minded entrepreneur to assist in growing this cutting edge counter culture corporation. As a corporation still in the nascent stages, we have secured the pieces for exponential growth. From 93 cases to 800, to 2230 cases, our biggest limiting factor has been supplying our demand. Our online retail outlet, along with the relationships we are building with distributors allows us to scale to an insurmountable case production number annually. Logistically the leg work has been put in place over the last two years to ensure the paved roads for SLO Down to become the largest anti-wine winery in the industry. We are looking for the right person who has a demonstrated track record of fund-raising, budgeting/budget management, leadership in a CFO or CEO role, and heavy alcohol consumption.

This is an exciting opportunity is for an individual with a creative and entrepreneurial spirit to support the company's efforts to further penetrate into the deep recesses of a stale and bourgeoisie industry. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and a team player with a proven track record in seeking and securing investment as well as management skills in a small business within a highly competitive market. You must have high-energy, attention to detail and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Since we have many projects in process, you will be expected to handle multiple tasks within short timeframes and deadlines.

Duties for this position include:

 • Innovative thinking on a macroscopic and microscopic level to ensure SLO Down remains a disruptive force in the wine industry

 • Oversee the big picture daily operations of the current executives involved in SLO Down

 • The ability and experience to secure a large investment in the company from either financial institutions, Venture Capitalists, or Angel investors.

 • Collaborate with existing team members to ensure positive movement on future projects as well as provide traction for a wide array of existing creative outlets.

 • Oversight of the financial responsibilities of the company, this individual must be able to delegate and work closely with our CPA and bookkeeper.

 • Identify, coordinate, schedule and oversee communication for the existing partners as well as contribute to the overall creative process in marketing and branding that has helped SLO Down experience exponential growth in the past 1.5 years.

 • Establish a connection with powerful and potentially influential advisors to serve on the Board of Advisors.

The following are the requirements of this position:

 • Experience in the start up world at the executive or founder level. Previous successful founding to fruition (whatever those terms may be, sale of company, absorption, etc.) is preferred but not required.

 • CFO and or accounting experience.

 • Excellent presentation, proofreading and communication (both written and verbal) skills.

 • Previous experience with designing and preparing technically-oriented marketing materials.

 • Previous use of CRM (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, ACT, etc.) programs

 • Self-motivated and able to work with little direction.

 • Strong multi-tasking and planning skills and ability to perform under pressure of deadlines.

 • Ability to travel

The starting salary for this position will be $60,000 -$80,000 annually, depending on experience. Opportunities for 4-8%, 2 year vesting, in addition to initial cash compensation. As a full-time team member, you will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits package, which consists of cuddling, kisses, and late night eats.

We are seeking someone to remain involved possibly on a permanent level. We need this individual to desire the growth and success of this winery, Sexual Chocolate, and future labels.

 

 

Salary Information: 60,000-80,000
