St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing professional. This position is responsible for planning and executing marketing and public relations activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with determining and executing the most effective and innovative means to achieve marketing initiatives and communications through advertising, online media, social media, partnerships, promotions, signage and collateral.
• Develop and execute detailed annual marketing and public relations plans in support of key product strategies and brand objectives
• Plans and manages the timing of the various activities to ensure deadlines are met in order to maximize the visibility and effectiveness of each initiative.
• Ensures messaging, images and logo use are in accordance with brand standards.
• Analyze effectiveness of marketing programs
• Responsible for setting standards for all printed materials and ensuring those standards are consistently applied
• Manages wine submissions to wine media. Maintains an up to date roster of key wine critics and publications and manages the process of submitting wines and corresponding technical information in accordance with the each critic’s/publication’s due dates.
• Write all communications to media (samples letter and press mailings).
• Write and distribute press releases.
• Write copy for website and promotional descriptions (about St. Supery) for partner websites.
• Write promotional copy for winery emails (to trade, media and consumers).
• Maintain marketing and promotions calendar for the marketing team, pulling information from all areas: distribution, wine club and visitor center.
• In coordination with the VP Marketing and the CEO, organize and respond to donation requests in a manner consistent with company policy.
• Maintain social media accounts and build online communities of consumer and trade ambassadors.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or public relations
• 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift 40lbs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
