Tasting Room Sales Lead

Primary Role & Responsibilities:
· Responsibility for opening and closing the Tasting Room.
· All tasting room related responsibilities; including greeting and educating customers on the winery and its products and pouring wine during daily opening hours and at events.
· Selling wine and Wine Clubs to meet tasting room sales goals.
· Providing a warm and inviting atmosphere where our customers have an extraordinary and memorable experience as they learn, taste and purchase wines.
· Responsibility for insuring all DTC wine shipments are properly packaged and sent to in accordance with wine shipping laws and winery's permits, and all shipping procedures for tracking sales are properly monitored.
· Assist in the marketing of the tasting room through outreach to other wineries, accommodation providers, limo and tour companies, industry associations and other influencers as directed by the DTC Operations Manager or the owners.
· Assist the DTC Operations Manager in producing DTC support materials (brochures, emails etc.).
Special Requirements: Must be 21 years of age. Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work week-ends, holidays as well as week days. Multitasking is essential. Must be well organized. Lead Sales Associate must be able to work within a team towards team goals and be able to lead the team to achieve tasting room sales goals. Knoweledge of email software (mail chimp, vertical response, etc.), photoshop, powerpoint and other office software essential.Excellent communication and sales skill are essential.
