Operations Associate (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

K&L Wine Merchants (www.klwines.com) is seeking a full-time Warehouse and Operations Associate. We’re looking for a detail oriented individual who has the energy and strength to move around many, many cases of wine. A positive attitude, physical stamina and good computer skills are a must.

Positions are available in our San Carlos Warehouse and Redwood City Retail Store.

Daily Responsibilities May Include:

•  Receive and check-in wine deliveries and transfers 

•  Pull wines from inventory for customer orders 

•  Pull wines from inventory for transfer between locations 

•  Process credit-cards for completed orders 

•  Pack and label completed orders for shipment or pick-up 

•  Maintain, update and follow-up on problem orders 

•  Assist with daily loading and unloading of K&L delivery vans

•  Drive and load/unload company van at central warehouse

•  Warehouse maintenance – sweeping, cardboard breakdown etc. 

Must be able to lift 40lbs repeatedly and have clean driving record.
