Scott Harvey Wines is seeking a sales-oriented, friendly, enthusiastic team player to work in our two Tasting Rooms in Amador County. We are a family owned company that likes to have fun while meeting our sales goals. This is a full-time position split between our Sutter Creek Tasting Room and our Shenandoah Winery. DUTIES INCLUDE:
Educate guests on the Scott Harvey story, vineyards and winemaking process
Deliver a "Wow" experience for the customers
Effectively use our POS system to place orders
Promote the sale and maintenance of wine club membership
Procure contact information from visitors so we can keep in touch
Working in both tasting rooms where staffing is needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to ask for the sale
Must dress professionally
High level customer service and communication skills
Experience in the restaurant or wine industry helpful
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays
Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 40 lbs.
