Position Summary:
Program and troubleshoot variable frequency drives trouble shoot, repair and maintain all plant electrical systems to include 110v 1P and up to 480v 3P systems and PLC control systems to include installation and preventative maintenance.
Essential Functions:
• Observe and follow all safety Procedures set forth by the SMWE Environmental Health & Safety Department
• Track all Work Orders In a computer based Maintenance Management System
• Follow all maintenance schedules set forth by the Maintenance Planner
• Perform miscellaneous and emergency repairs set forth by the Maintenance Supervisor
• Initiate and Participate in discussions for future projects and Maintenance schedules to enhance production efficiencies pertinent to the operation of all SMWE facilities
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work independently without supervision in order to complete daily tasks and assignments.
• Program/troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC 500,Control Logixs, Devicenet, EthernetIP,
• Advanced knowledge of Control Logixs, RSnetworks, and Factory Talk programming software.
• Program and troubleshoot variable frequency drives
• Trouble shoot, Repair and Maintain all plant electrical systems to include 110v 1P and up to 480v 3P systems.
• Trouble shoot, Repair and Maintain 24VDC PLC control systems to include installation
• Perform Routine Preventative Maintenance throughout the plant to include Winery Juice processing Machinery and Bottling Lines.
Non-Essential Duties:
• Perform miscellaneous maintenance functions as outlined by Supervisor.
• Other related duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
• Work is performed indoors in an industrial plant setting in temperatures of 60-65 degrees and outside in varying weather conditions. Will wear personal protective equipment
Requirements
Physical Requirements:
• Walk, stand, bend/stoop, squat, kneel, climb, twist, push heavy objects, pull/jerk objects, work at heights, waist and below waist level, lift up to 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalency preferred.
• Technical school coursework preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years experience in a winery, food processing facility or similar environment involving the responsibilities as outlined above.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot problems using those schematics.
• Ability to work independently maintaining a positive working relationships in a team environment.
• Ability to work extended hours during harvest & peak periods to include rotating shift work and weekends.
• History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
