Vineyard Manager: Law Estate Wines
Law Estate Wines, a west Paso Robles Estate Winery is seeking a full time vineyard manager to work closely with our winemaking team to produce wines of exceptional quality. The site is remarkable and the potential is limitless. Antonio Galloni of Vinous called the project “…one of the most exciting and promising young estates I have seen anywhere”. “It has the potential to establish itself as one of the top wineries in the world, and I say that as someone who has visited virtually every reference-point estate in Bordeaux, Burgundy, California and Italy within the last 12 months.’’
Vineyard Manager Description:
The right candidate must possess the experience and ambition to continually elevate and develop the fruit quality of our estate vineyards. A practical and thorough understanding of organic viticultural practices is a must, as is a proven track record of farming grapes of uncompromised quality. We have been working with an outstanding vineyard management company and are now ready to transition to in house management. The vineyard manager will be working with the owner and winemaker in the continual evolution of best farming practices in a challenging and dynamic growing environment. They will assume oversight of all vineyard operations including daily farming activities and additional vineyard development, budget management, compliance and reporting, labor management and property maintenance.
Additional Requirements:
· Applicants are required to have a Bachelor’s of Science in Viticulture or related field.
· Minimum 5 years practical experience,
· Solid computer and organizational skills.
· Ability to communicate in Spanish.
