The following reflects the primary duties of the Lead Warehouse Coordinator in Paso Robles. Tasks may be reassigned as needed by the Company.
• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
• Maintain inventory, shipping and receiving accuracy through applying company procedures, and audit of the same to verify results.
• Maintain accurate inventory data integrity of inbound/outbound goods
• Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service to internal and external customers
• Assist in the development and implementation of training and cross training for all phases of the operation. Ensure proper training of all warehouse personnel and develops individuals for future advancement
• Oversee the restocking of products and ensures product is moved accurately and timely
• Maintain Health & Safety compliance in accordance with company policy
• Work directly with General Manager, communicating daily order shipment requests and all required follow up
• Participates in quality improvement efforts
• Performs required administrative tasks; prepares required reports and correspondence
• Reports any problem issues immediately to the General Manager
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other Company associates to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that is conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and effectiveness
• Maintains a neat and organized environment at all times
• Performs other similar duties and projects as assigned by General Manager
• Forklift experience a plus
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2-5 years Warehouse experience
• Above average proficiency in Excel and Word
• Excels with resolving issues and solving problems through personal interaction
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Possess a strong collaborative attitude with the ability and willingness to not only complete own work, but to help co-worker
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Proven track record of attention to detail
• Able to work both day and swing shifts during peak periods, with possible overtime
Physical:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Climb a ladder to a height of at least 20 feet
• Walk, bend, and climb stairs
• Stand for long periods of time
• Wear appropriate safety equipment
