Napa Wine Company, has seasonal positions available for the 2017 harvest. Duties include all aspects of the wine grape harvest: crushing, pressing, pump-overs, draining and shoveling tanks, tank additions, punch-downs, daily cleaning, barrel filling, and other fermentation and cellar tasks as needed. Position is projected to start mid-August, end mid-Nov/Dec.
Requires heavy physical activity, ability to lift up to 50 lbs., ability to work outdoors, on elevated catwalks and in changing environments. Ability to speak and understand basic English preferred.
Previous winery experience recommended, preferably in a facility with multi-ton daily crush activity.
Variable schedule, as needed, which will include weekends, overtime with day and night shifts.
