Terra Firma Wine Company is seeking a broker or employee sales representative to take over an existing book of business and open new accounts in the Bay Area and other regions of Northern California. We are a small, non-corporate, family-owned business, in it for love and success since 2003. We want fun and strong-minded folks on our team who will work with passion, maturity, and flexibility.
Candidate must have a strong knowledge of European estate-bottled wines of the highest quality, and familiarity with the Rosenthal Wine Merchant portfolio. Additional experience and knowledge of domestic wines (California and Pacific Northwest) preferred. Car required.
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• At least two years of sales experience in the Bay Area, along with established buyer relationships and proven ability to build strong partnerships with customers
• Ability to work independently, but also be a team player
• Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills, including pronunciation of European vineyard names and varietals
• History of visiting wineries in different regions where we are represented
• Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals
• Professional appearance and demeanor
High level restaurant or retail buyer experience will be considered, where clear sales capabilities can be proven.
Compensation is commission-driven. Benefits including health and dental are negotiable.
