Vinoce & Twenty Rows is a family run winery in downtown Napa. In 2001 we became the first working winery to come to downtown. We are proud to have our vineyard in the beautiful Mt. Veeder appellation. We are looking for part/full-time tasting room hosts to join our small team.
Job responsibilities will include:
• Confidently hosting guests at our tasting room
• Performing sales transactions using the E-Cellars POS software platform
• Reconciliation of cash, which includes opening and closing procedures
• Restocking and inventory of wine
• All operational activities associated with running a retail wine business
• Assisting with hospitality events on and off-site
Candidate Qualifications
• Outstanding sales skills and must be sales motivated
• Excellent customer service abilities, able to create a welcoming environment
• Focused on exceeding guest expectations
• Strong communications skills in person, in writing and on the telephone
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Strong wine knowledge or interest in fine wines is required
• Reliable, conscientious and must take initiative
• 2-3 years’ experience in a tasting room, luxury retail or fine dining restaurant environment is required
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid CA driver’s license
• Over 21 years of age
