A small, family owned Winery in Carneros, Napa Valley is currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our part time (2 - 3 days per week, weekends a must) tasting room staff! Ideal candidates will be friendly, outgoing individuals who operate well in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal communication skills, the ability to speak in front of large groups, and a friendly, personable demeanor are a must. Prior wine and food knowledge is beneficial but not required as we are willing to train the right candidates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Has an outgoing personality and wants to have fun.
- Greets all visitors to the winery and pours wines for tastings.
- Conducts guided tours of the vineyards and winery.
- Accurately conducts sales and cash register transactions.
- Describe wines, winemaking techniques, and winery history.
- Prepares wines for shipping.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Able to work a flexible schedule (weekends a must).
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to effectively stock wine and non-wine merchandise.
