Position Purpose:

Under close supervision, the Pricing Analyst supports the Finance team with administration of our pricing system. The Pricing Analyst supports the gathering, management, and reporting of pricing information to ensure up-to-date data across multiple systems. The analyst manages various reports to support monthly pricing workflow, publishing of pricing books, adherence to pricing plan, and other pricing analytics.

Essential Duties:

  • Supports the administration of our pricing system, including updating administrative assumptions for new products, markets, or changing laws.
  • Monitors pricing workflow to support publication of approved pricing, including working with Sales, Finance, and Compliance to conduct workflow audits, provide discrepancy feedback and monitoring, and provide status updates as necessary.
  • Performs monthly reporting and analysis to support review with Sales Managers, including trend and variance analysis of pricing performance with data from various systems, including scan data. 
  • Supports financial evaluation of pricing changes, including conducting break-even analysis, lift sensitivity analysis, and competitive response analysis.
  • Investigates and corrects anomalies or inaccuracies in financial data or results. 
  • Facilitates ad hoc analysis as necessary.

Non Essential Duties:

  • Maintains financial partnerships with sales managers and finance managers.
  • Maintains relationships with various functional management teams to ensure quality deliverables and information flow, including accounting, FP&A, Business Performance Management, HROC, the Chain Team, and Marketing.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in consumer/market research, economics, business, finance, math, or similar. Prior experience in wine or beverage alcohol business a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong computer and Excel skills are required. Must exhibit excellent communication skills, analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
