Brief Description:
Global Package is a small and dynamic wine & spirits packaging company looking for an energetic person with a broad array of attributes, able to converse with new and existing clients and manage the logistics of orders. This includes confirming availability of stock, arranging transport and communicating with the warehouse and logistics team.
This position has a medium responsibility level and reports to the Operations Manager/Office Manager.
Job Outline:
Coordinate shipments from warehouses to customers via freight-forwarders to ensure timely delivery.
Contacting customer to confirm and set up delivery arrangements.
Maintain status of orders through the entire process.
Perform required administrative tasks; prepare required reports and correspondence.
Greet customers and phone reception.
Packing and mailing samples to customers.
Assist Operations Manager with all tasks as necessary.
Experience and Skills Required:
Formal training in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and QuickBooks.
Inventory work experience highly recommended.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Prefer experience doing clerical work, communicating with clients, and inventory management.
Attention to detail, accurate and accountable with regard to work.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in a fast growing company constantly changing priorities, proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and be self-directed, quick learner, team player.
Good communication skills are needed along with a professional attitude and strong work ethic.
