Position Purpose:

Under the direction of the Business Services Leader(s), the role of the Associate Business Relationship Manager is to execute projects according to strict deadlines. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of cross-functional team members and third party service providers in order to deliver projects according to plan. This position directly supports the BRM’s activities as it relates to Business Services.

  • Provides input and assists with the monitoring of the department budget.

Essential Duties:

  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects and scope of assigned projects.
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Provides direct support to Business Services Director(s) on projects as they relate to Business Services.
  • Develops, manages, and updates project timetables to insure stakeholder visibility; manages workflow and obtains stakeholders’ signoff of time sensitive tasks to insure project completion within agreed time frame.
  • Works with the Director in assessing the feasibility of new projects.
  • Coordinates cross-functionally for the design, development, testing, and vendor selection for project implementation.
  • Coordinates R&D for special projects with cross-functional project team.
  • Manages vendor relationships where applicable; monitors performance and capabilities of vendors in order to ensure commitments are met.
  • Works directly with our internal and external customers to ensure all regulatory and company requirements are met; including government regulations, established business standards, etc.
  • Documents and maintains internal control processes, procedures, measures, and standard workflows.
  • Assists Business Services Director(s) in identifying areas of highest risk/opportunity and developing action plans to correct / mitigate.
  • Responsible for daily tasks as it relates to their respective functional area of responsibility such as customer account manager, state compliance, project administrator, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • B.A/B.S in business related field or 5 – 7 years experience in business related field winery experience preferred.
  •  Lean training/experience a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Project Management; including the ability to take initiative and self-motivate on projects as well as motivate teams on common goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be a strong listener as well.
  • Highly-organized and able to multi-task multiple complex projects; strong time management skills, analytical and detail-oriented.
