Position Summary:

 

Acting on own initiative, the Business Integration Manager will work with both Sales and Marketing teams to drive organizational focus and sound financial business management of the Delicato  National brands portfolio. This role will connect Marketing strategy with sales tactics and execution to achieve company goals. As a business management leader, the Business Integration Manager will also assist Sales in managing Distributor performance with a focus on revenue (P&L), pricing and execution analyses.

 

Manager Responsibilities – Essential Duties:

 

  • Understands, communicates, and shares Company vision throughout division/organization and provides cross-functional perspective, direction, and support.

  • Provides leadership and personal support; coaches, guides, nurtures and develops the right people – “walk the talk” to achieve organizational goals.

  • Drives Company focus, manages culture, encourages strong work ethic, and fosters an environment of trust and respect.

  • Communicates and supports Company policies and decisions in a positive manner.

  • Prepares and monitors annual T&E budget and adheres to company guidelines.

 

Duties/Essential Job Functions:

 

  • Direct and lead communication between Marketing and Sales to gain adherence of the annual brand priority and programming calendars.

  • Manage local sales teams to build up insights and key objectives to support the Marketing teams ability to influence key stakeholders within both distributors and retailers.

  • Lead Joint Business Planning on an annual/semi-annual basis with key distributor contacts, demonstrating distributor profit potential of Delicato portfolio, and supporting pricing and margin negotiations.

  • Provide guidance on distributor profitability so that annual revenue goals are met.

  • Set objectives, measure program ROI, and provide market-based insights and feedback to Sales and Marketing management on key strategic initiatives.

  • Align pricing promotion timing to brand promotions.

  • Interact with Sales managers and conduct market visits to take the pulse of the business and proactively intercept trends, opportunities and threats.

  • Support various distributor meetings including but not limited to; new distributor launches, performance reviews, etc.

  • Participate in relevant Sales & Marketing meetings (including Distributor and Divisional Sales team meetings). Travel to markets as necessary (30% Travel).

 

Position Requirements:

 

Education:  Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business with a Sales or Marketing concentration.

 

Experience:  A minimum of 3-5 years Finance, Sales, or Marketing experience within Wine/Beer/Spirits/CPG universe preferred.

 

Knowledge:  Strong budget management expertise. Proven ability to translate and communicate brand strategy into sales execution. Experience in Nielsen/IRI scan data analytics, developing and supporting sales presentations. Expert computer skills are required; with strength in Excel, PowerPoint and ability to report, graph and present complex information. Excellent communication skills, analytical skills and proven problem-solving ability.
