2017 Harvest Internship (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

Bouchaine Vineyards is seeking qualified Harvest Interns for the 2017 season. We are a family owned 100 acre property, founded in 1981, and located in the Carneros District of Napa Valley. Bouchaine produces ultra-premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, along with small amounts of Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Meunier, Riesling and Syrah. Harvest is hard work, but lunch is provided! 

Duties and Responsibilities:
-vineyard sampling and processing
-assisting with crushing, fermentation, and pressing
-performing pumpovers & punchdowns
-cleaning and sanitation of equipment
-draining & digging out tanks
-barreling down wine

Job Requirements/Skills:
-self-motivated, reliable and efficient
-ability to take direction and work well in a team
-physically fit, able to lift 50 pounds
-positive attitude
-able to work long hours including weekends
-reliable transportation and housing

This position starts in August.

Compensation DOE

Must be U.S. Citizen or have current U.S. work authorization.
