Position Summary:
The Technology Operations Administrator (TOA) position is responsible for the deployment, maintenance, operation and business continuity of Delicato’s enterprise systems and infrastructure. This position will install, configure, and maintain the hardware and software that encompass the enterprise environment. The TOA evaluates existing enterprise systems and infrastructure for reliability and effectiveness and proposes new systems to improve production or workflow as required. This position performs scheduled software installations, upgrades and maintenance to the enterprise environment at all layers. The position maintains the access and security operations of Delicato’s enterprise systems and network. This role maintains relationships with hardware and software vendors for service and support. The TOA position maintains the data integrity of all enterprise systems by actively monitoring performance, performing data archiving, and managing backups through a variety of system management tools. The position participates in audits of hardware and software to ensure those systems’ compliance adheres to organizational guidelines. This position provides 2nd tier technical support to the Client Services team and end users to resolve technical support needs. The TOA position maintains and updates a library of documentation for the full scope of hardware and software that comprise the enterprise infrastructure.
Duties/Essential Job Functions:
• Manages the day-to-day operations of the host systems by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair.
• Monitors all enterprise systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.) to maintain optimal efficiency and prevent unplanned downtime. Ensures all monitoring is reviewed and corrective action is expeditiously taken.
• Ensures record systems (i.e. system operational logs, security logs, system downtime logs, change control, equipment inventory) are properly maintained.
• Manages the open tickets routed to the Technical Operations Team for execution and sets priorities together with the Technical Operations Supervisor for resolution.
• Develops and updates systems’ administrative procedures/policies, such as routine preventive maintenance, adding new user accounts, security authorization, and shutting down and restarting the database and network servers.
• Actively reviews Disk Storage and participates in Capacity Planning for the healthy growth and governance of the enterprise infrastructure.
• Develops and maintains procedures, programs and documentation for backup and restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications.
• Applies revisions, patches and updates to enterprise systems and network infrastructure.
• Develops and implements plans, custom scripts, changes and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability with a structured approach.
• Establishes, maintains and manages users Active Directory authorizations, and profiles.
• Trains IS staff in the use of new software and hardware developed and/or acquired.
• Maintains a healthy network environment with solid management of DNS, RAS, Firewall and DHCP through record keeping and event monitoring.
• Proactive maintenance and of the switches, routers, and wireless access points
• Establishes guidelines and methods for the installation and management of the enterprise systems, disk arrays, fiber channel switches, software libraries and other components.
• Assists Technology Operations Supervisor with management of the physical data center and host systems including hardware, software and equipment such as power and environmental controls.
• Stays current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommends ways for DFV to take advantage of new technology.

Software: Microsoft OS (7/8/2008R2/2012) Linux (REHL 4/5/6), SAP ERP, SAP Business Objects, Microsoft Office Server Systems (Exchange 2013/Lync 2013/SharePoint2013), Microsoft SQL Server (2008/2008R2/2012) Microsoft Office (Pro Plus 2010/Pro Plus 2013/Visio 2013/Project 2013, OneDrive for Business) IIS, Apache, Adobe CMS.
Position Requirements:
Education: A high school diploma is a minimum requirement. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, OR a degree in a STEM discipline (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) is preferred.
Experience: 4 or more years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience with Intel-based servers (Windows Server) and personal computers (Windows OS), and network peripherals. A strong background in virtualized environments.
Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of a Virtualized Server infrastructure. Windows Hyper-V experience preferred. Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Server System environment (Lync 2013, Exchange 2013, SharePoint 2013).
SAP Infrastructure & Linux experience a plus.
A working knowledge of access control and network security best practices.
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, most importantly in a cross-functional team environment.
Knowledge of: Scripting languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies in use; Windows system administration, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools.
Ability to: Plan, organize and document complex system design activities and to configure systems to be consistent with institutional policies/procedures; communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing; establish and maintain cooperation, understanding, trust and credibility; perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively.
