Position Summary:

Delicato Family Vineyards is seeking a well-rounded; customer focused Recruiter, with a passion for delighting the client and candidate, to join our Talent Management team. Your focus will be on driving candidate generation strategies in partnership with your clients. To be great in this role the candidate must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs. The best candidates will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR business partners. They have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation, client/account management, and organization, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize their time, demonstrate pushback and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service.

Duties/Essential Job Functions:

• Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
• Be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates and possess the mentality to "profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation" rather than sell a role.
• Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conducts in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios.
• Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Company’s mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
• Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process.
• Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
• Manages the pre- and post-offer process including reference checks and the logistics associated with medical physicals and drug screens.
• Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting: Community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport with all those contacted.
• Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings.
• Assists with the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to provide a qualified candidate pool.
• Utilizes a variety of interviewing techniques, including behavioral techniques, to assess and evaluate candidates.
• Interfaces with hiring managers to ensure employment needs are addressed in a timely fashion; provides regular follow-up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
• Maintains relationships with prospective talent and manages on going candidate sourcing relationships.
• Provides daily updates on current job openings status and provides information regarding challenges.
• Develops and maintains career opportunities section on the Company Intranet – TALEO.
• Assists HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers in the completion of Job Requisitions; ensures Job Requisitions are complete and obtains proper approval.
• Actively participates in all staffing related activities and engages in cross functional projects.
• Develops and executes a personal time management plan.
• Tracks and reports key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity and efficiency.
• Develops and implements search strategy that includes vendor selection process and performance metrics for all searches.
• Proposes and participates in ongoing best practices and Process improvements to our current recruitment efforts.
• Completes HR related duties as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Position Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Development, Business, or related field.

Experience:  Five or more years of related human resources/recruiting experience, Manufacturing environment preferred.

Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of current recruiting trends, excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, complete desktop software applications (MS office preferred), Human Resources Information Systems experience preferred.
