Position Summary:

As a member of Delicato’s Compliance Division, you will help build and manage programs designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our customers' most sensitive data.

The Federal Regulatory Manager will work to maximize efficiencies in auditing Federal records which support mandatory California State and Federal reporting for all bonded premises.  In this role you will participate in the development, evaluation, design and implementation of cross departmental training programs to further develop staff.  Work is generally of a critical nature, requiring development of a broad working knowledge of Federal and State industry compliance requirements.

Duties/Essential Job Functions:
• Manage and direct the Federal Regulatory team operations and staffing for case goods.
• Manage and support all cased good related Federal TTB and California State Audits; manage Federal case good records retention program.
• Develop, implement, and maintain performance measurement and feedback tools for Federal Regulatory Compliance staff.
• Ensure timely filing of Federal and State Excise wine tax payments for all bonded premises.
• Ensure the Monthly Bonded Winery Operations Report is completed & mailed in a timely manner for all bonded premises.
• Ensure End of Month reconciliation and analysis of Case Goods MTD Activity in support of government regulations and internal system processes.
• Manage the investigation and resolution of auditing discrepancies (ie, labeling reviews, Line 5 Work Orders, Material Master Audits) eliminating risk of inaccurate Federal and State data reporting.
• Audit bottling blend attributes with labeling claims reducing risk of potential rework due to inaccurate or non-valid claims.
• Audit Master Data Management auditing function within SAP to allow for accurate financial and federal regulatory reporting.
• Work with cross functional management team (IS, Production, Distribution, Supply Chain, and Marketing, etc) to identify critical functions and assist in the development of enterprise procedures and training materials.
• Manage and direct conduct cross departmental training to further develop and strengthen employee skill sets in order to obtain higher accuracy levels as well as ‘first time’ accurate government reporting.
• Manage and evaluate labeling requirements for all new product development.
• Work concurrently with the Federal Compliance Inventory Control Manager to support the Case Goods physical inventory process through reconciliation.
• Practice and encourage open communication and problem solving skills which cultivate a high level of team interaction
• Assist with special projects as needed.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field or a minimum of 3 to 5 years inventory experience within a regulated industry.

• Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).  Proficient in desktop application (MS preferred).
