Lyra Wine is an importer and distributor of high quality, boutique Italian wines.
We are seeking experienced, driven sales representatives in key California territories to include but not limited to: Orange County and Los Angeles
Our ideal candidate has at least two years of experience and their own list of contacts.
Must be dynamic, self-motivated, professional and capable of working independently. We are looking for someone who is passionate about wine and Italy.
Skills & Qualifications
• Two+ years experience in fine wine sales
• Requires strong Italian wine knowledge and a passion for the wine industry
• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid California driver’s license
• Must have a working vehicle and active automobile insurance
• Territory familiarity and willingness to drive throughout the territory to visit 8-10 accounts a day
• Ability to lift and pull 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Must be focused, energetic, organized and have experience building accounts and client relationships.
• Goal oriented – experience meeting and exceeding sales goals
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends on occasion for special events
• Computer literate and familiarity with sales CRM and MS Office tools
General Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a sales strategy for your territory.
• Open and build relationships with new accounts.
• Maintain house account relationships in the territory.
• Maintain regular contact with accounts, including frequent on-site visits to sample products, provide customer support and monitor inventory levels.
• Prepare quotes and invoices. Track sales activities.
• Assist with industry trade events and client events involving Lyra Wine.
• Schedule and conduct wine tastings with customers to promote products. Maintain sample tracking records.
• Escort Italian winery producers to client visits, marketing events, tastings and trade events.
• Build knowledge about the Lyra brand, portfolio and processes
