Hillersden is currently seeking experienced salesperson for SoCal.
Hillersden is a family owned, single estate winery and vineyard located in the heart of Marlborough, New Zealand. Our sales and marketing offices are based in Los Angeles, CA. As one of the few 100% sustainable operations, Hillersden is crafting wine with the highest environmental standards, and creating a new legacy for the modern wine lover.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position possesses at least 2 years with wine supplier or distributor experience in selling wine direct to buyer, conducting entertaining wine tastings, working with our marketing and PR departments to promote our locations and keeping the most professional standards while representing Hillersden Wine in the market. Strong knowledge of the Southern California territory and a keen sense of the wine industry a plus. This position demands excellent verbal/written communication skills, diligent customer service, and confident negotiation skills. Ability to maintain POs, order processing, sales leads (Excel, Pipedrive) and the ability to navigate the Internet and social media channels is key to success.
Sales professional will be required to have an established contact base within the wine market for Southern California.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and possess a valid driver’s license.
This position offers a base salary plus commissions and bonuses. Compensation package determined by experience. Travel expenses paid. Some travel outside the territory for company events and meetings in New Zealand will be required and afforded by Hillersden Wine US.
