District Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

LangeTwins Winery and Vineyards (LTWV), a fast-growing, multigenerational, sustainably certified winemaking and viticulture organization, is seeking a District Manager for Southern California. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and the understanding that the job is done “on the streets”.

 

 

 

This position reports to the California Regional Manager and is based in Los Angeles with frequent travel throughout the Southern California market.


Job Requirements:

 

·         Manage the LangeTwins portfolio to successful completion of our depletion and account sold sales plan.

 

·         Expand and grow key on and off premise sales and relationships in the region.

 

·         Develop strong relationships with all levels of our distributors and manage their performance.

 

·         Conduct distributor sales meetings, both general and team.

 

·         Plan, act and follow-up on distributor work-withs.

 

·         Attend consumer and trade events and host winery tastings/dinners to promote LangeTwins Winery.

 

 

 

Education/Experience/Skills:

 

·         Minimum 3+ years of distributor management and/or wine supplier experience in selling wine, building brands and calling on key customers.

 

·         Must be a person of high integrity with commitment and a strong work ethic.

 

·         Bachelor’s degree required.

 

·         Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals and objectives.

 

·         Strong analytical, written and verbal reasoning skills.

 

·         Strong negotiation and communication skills.

 

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office and other applicable software is required.

 

·         Current driver’s license and clean driving record.

 

 

 

Physical Requirements:

 

·         Ability to lift heavy boxes (40-50 lbs).

 

·         Frequent standing, walking, in indoor and outdoor settings.

 

·         Sitting and driving in a motor vehicle.

 

·         Sitting talking and listening.

 

·         Working at a computer.

 

·         Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

 

·         Noise level ranges from moderate to loud.
