Position Summary:

The Tasting Rooms at Wente Vineyards and Murrieta's Well have immediate openings for part time Wine Ambassadors, Tasting Room Helpers and Concierge staff. Our team members are responsible for providing an exceptionally high level of customer service and educating guests about our wines. Additionally, our ambassadors may also deliver tapas style dining and food/wine pairing experiences. Wine Ambassadors actively recruit new wine club members and assist guests in the selection and purchase of wines for enjoyment at the winery or in their homes. 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:

• A positive attitude with a warm and welcoming demeanor
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills 
• Comfortable with public speaking; ability to provide a welcoming and interactive experience for large groups and group tours
• Strong wine knowledge, interest in wine, wine and food pairing and/or sales background with demonstrated experience closing sales
• Winery, hospitality or related field experience strongly preferred
• Ability to professionally represent the Company when in contact with guests and vendors
• Team focused and detail oriented
• Guest focused with the ability to provide exceptional, high-touch customer service at all times
