FOH Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

The Grill at The Course at Wente Vineyards has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic FOH Manager. We are seeking an experienced food and beverage professional with a proven track record for delivering outstanding customer service and business results. 

POSITION SUMMARY: The FOH Manager oversees dining room and golf on-course service. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

•  Manage business to financial budget established

•  Conduct monthly inventory, accounting processes and other administrative tasks 

•  Interview, hire, schedule and train all FOH Grill and on-course staff

•  Conduct staff meetings

•  Utilize strong understanding of Hospitality and guest service to nurture a sense of dedication to excellence in terms of guest experience and guest advocacy. 

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS:

•  Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and will demonstrate the

highest degree of professionalism. 

•  Wine and spirits knowledge

•  Effective inventory and labor cost analysis and control experience, 

including experience managing and reporting on Profit and Loss 

•  A sound business acumen

•  Strong organizational and planning skills 

•  Endless efforts toward total quality improvement

•  Ability to provide continuous team building, staff development and training

•  A minimum of 2 years restaurant management/ supervisory experience desired. On-course Food and Beverage experience helpful.

•  Must be available to work weekends, evenings and some holidays
