Company Description
Campovida is a family-owned boutique winery located in Hopland, Mendocino County (just 30 minutes north of Healdsburg). We produce about 5,000 cases annually and focus on making small lots of vineyard designate wines from some of the best sites and appellations within Mendocino County including Yorkville Highlands, Anderson Valley, Redwood Valley and Potter Valley. The vineyards are mostly organic and biodynamic certified and the winemaking approach is hands-off in nature but with the intent to produce sound wines that reflect a sense of place.
We are looking for an enthusiastic harvest intern who is passionate about winemaking and is looking for a job that will expose him/her to all aspects of winemaking. This is a great opportunity to work side by side with the winemaker and gain hands-on experience. This position will go from August through November.

Job Description
Duties:
- Vineyard sampling
- Grape maturity analysis (Brix, pH, TA)
- General lab analysis (pH, TA, VA, Free SO2, total SO2)
- Monitoring tank and barrel fermentations
- All Cellar work: receive grapes, manage press cycles, additions, cleaning barrels, filling barrels, daily brix, equipment sanitation, racking tanks, combining old world and new world techniques
Qualifications:
- Degree in Enology or Viticulture or related field
- Previous harvest experience is preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Excellent communicational skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Able to move and or lift up to 45 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation
- Willingness to work long hours including weekends
