Tasting Room Representative (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Rochioli Winery is seeking an enthusiastic, wine-knowledgeable individual to join our team. We are a small, family owned winery and we expect the applicant to be versatile,and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities. We are searching for an energetic, upbeat, engaging and creative person to join our tasting room team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about wine and food, and excel at both the hospitality and sales aspect of the position. We are looking for team members who want to excel in their role and have ambitions to learn and grow into new responsibilities. Week ends only.

Duties will include:
Provide memorable tastings and wine education
Tasting Room , Reception, Customer Service
Packing customer orders
Phone support, customer inquiries
Special Event support

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

Ability to lift to 50 lbs. 
Must be friendly and outgoing with some wine knowledge
Thrives in a small team environment
Excellent Verbal and Communication Skills
Experience with or ability to learn POS systems
Must be proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word
Experience working with Vin 65 or equivalent a plus
Acute Attention to Detail
Professional Attitude and Strong Work Ethic 
Able To Take Direction, Ability to work independently and as a member of a team 
Versatility, flexibility, & a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities 
Must Be 21 Years Of Age And Have A Valid Ca Drivers License
