Position
We seek a highly detailed and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Control Coordinator.
This is an Operations based position. The position reports to the Director of Operations.
Job Functions
- Maintain database of finished goods and bulk wine at multiple locations
- Monitor obsolete inventory and slow movers and follow-up on defined action plans
- Prepare a range of inventory related reports to for multiple teams.
- Conduct on-going inventory analysis to resolve any inventory reconciliation issues.
- Participate in preparation/analysis of S&OP working documents (run out inventory analysis)
- Manage Grapes contracts in NAV and VINX (enter contract in different system, and reconcile weight tag’s during harvest vs contract and invoices)
- Conduct monthly in-depth reconciliation of finished goods and bulk wine.
- Co-develop, implement and monitor inventory control procedures.
- Coordinate and manage physical inventory counts at all locations.
- Regular data entry related to finished goods and bulk wine stored at multiple locations.
- Record keeping required for regular inventory audits.
- Completes special projects on various inventory related issues as needed.
- Report Excise Tax and Monthly 702’s (temporarily)
Skills
- Demonstrated Excel modeling skills including creation/maintenance of formulas, pivots and macros where appropriate.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting and financial mathematics.
- Tech-savvy with a short learning curve for new systems and the ability to troubleshoot common local machine issues.
- Excellent, self-regulating time management and prioritization skills that allow deadlines to be met without haste.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers and colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication appropriate to a professional environment
- Impeccable document / data compilation and organization skills are required.

Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in areas of production operations, inventory management or production-based accounting.
- Wine industry accounting and production experience is highly desired.
- Ability to safely lift a wine case (about 50 pounds)
