DTC Shipping, Logistics, Raw Material Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Chateau Diana Winery is seeking a DTC Shipping, Logistics and Raw Materials Coordinator to join our team. We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, professional, with past experience in shipping, logistics and warehouse protocols to join our fast-paced work environment.

Reporting to the Director of DTC and the President, the DTC Shipping and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating day to day DTC warehouse operations. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

•  Processing outbound DTC orders from various market sources via Vin65, ShipCompliant, Vin360, ShippingEasy and/or another POS/CRM/Shipping Software
•  Creating order batches, pick lists and shipping labels via shipping software solution
•  Picking and packing all DTC orders ensuring attention to quality and detail
•  Coordinating carrier pick-ups with UPS, FedEx, GSO, etc.
•  Receive, log and track returned or orphaned orders
•  Rotate and purge returned or orphaned orders per company policy and protocol 
•  Ordering and receiving packaging materials and wine products 
•  Management of DTC inventory for all market allocations
•  Physical count of all inventory monthly, spot checks/counts weekly for depletion management and restock reports/requests
•  Prepare inventory transfer reports/requests and physically move wines as needed
•  Manages physical inventory to ensure correct current inventory in rotation (i.e. vintage, new product lines, etc.) and efficient use of warehouse space 
•  Ensure all supplies and products are stored safely, efficiently and are labeled clearly
•  Ensures compliance with OSHA, FDA, and US Customs requirements and Local ABRA laws as they apply to DTC shipping.
•  Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by maintaining and adhering to security and safety policies and procedures.
•  Working with various non wine items as they relate to our gift packs. 
•  Working with various raw materials related to our day to day production. 
•  Supporting various departments during high volume/traffic periods.
•  Other duties as assigned

The work environment is fast paced, and comes with constant interruptions, so a diplomatic, careful individual will do well in this role. The right candidate for the DTC Shipping and Logistics Coordinator position will also need to be a team player, a quick learner, leader and creative problem solver, with strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.

Requirements:

2 - 4 years’ experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, and warehouse administration (This is not an entry level position)
General computer skills with proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Above average math skills.
Some heavy lifting required
Leadership skills 
Forklift certification or able to obtain immediately
Clean driving record
Tidiness, accuracy and punctuality
Able to use Outlook and Excel.
