The ideal candidate for a Tasting Room Runner position for Imagery Family Winery is a hardworking exemplary individual with excellent verbal and interpersonal skills. A successful candidate will also take personal responsibility in providing outstanding service and friendliness that exceeds expectations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Maintain clean and well-stocked Tasting Bar(s) during opening, throughout service and close-down.
Keep bars clear and wiped clean of glassware, service ware and spills during service;
Keep floors free and clear of broken glass, water, and other debris during service;
Stock wine consistently during service;
Wash, dry and buff all glasses, plates, flatware and any other utensils used during service;
Transport supplies from storage container as needed through service;
Required to participate in the set up, support and breakdown of events and tours;
Support for Inventory and Merchandising as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years of age;
High school diploma;
At least one (1) year experience in hospitality industry, preferably in a tasting room or as a back waiter or bar back role is highly desired but not required;
Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all levels of employees in a team-oriented environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing and twisting in the performance of various tasks in a tasting room environment;
Must be able to stand for an extended period of time;
Must be able to lift 40 pounds;
Ability to work weekends and holidays is a must.
