Tasting Room/Event Staff (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Jason-Stephens Winery is seeking part-time events and tasting room personnel. Ideal candidate must be energetic, professional and have strong customer service skills. Must enjoy contact with the public and be able to learn and then educate consumers about our world class wines and a rejuvenating wine region. The Tasting Room Associate will conduct tasting and assist guests with fine wine sales, when ready conduct tours for both public and trade groups. This position will also set up and break down the tasting room on a daily basis. Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.

TASTING ROOM Qualifications:

 • Passion for wine and knowledge of wine tasting practices

 • Generate fine wine sales

 • Superior interaction skills with the public in a positive & professional manner

 • Speak in front of groups of up to 35 people

 • Operate a Point of Sale system 

 • Keep track of multiple customers and activities simultaneously 

 • Lift 40 pounds repeatedly (cases of wine)

 • Stand for long periods of time

 • Work primarily Friday evenings, Saturday, and Sundays

Compensation Information: 

 $12/hr + sales bonuses + wine club signup bonus + 50% off wines + access to industry only event

EVENTS STAFF Qualifications:

• Superior Customer Service

• Handle large crowds

• Superior interaction skills with the public in a positive & professional manner

• Operate a Point of Sale system,

• Keep track of multiple customers and activities simultaneously 

• Lift 40 pounds repeatedly (cases of wine)

• Stand for long periods of time

• Oversee events, concerts, wedding, private tasting and other special events

• Work primarily Friday evenings, Saturday, and Sundays

 Compensation Information: 

 $10/hr +tips + 50% off wines + access to industry only events
