Winery Representative/Tasting Room Associate (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Orfila Vineyards and Winery is San Diego County’s leading producer of award-winning wines, sourced from grapes grown on our hillside estate and from other renowned grape-growing regions in coastal California. Our Escondido location is nestled in the picturesque San Pasqual Valley overlooking our 70 acre estate and is open daily for wine tasting and purchases. We are very proud of our wines, staff and history and look forward to adding another valued employee to our family.

Orfila Vineyards & Winery looking for Winery Representatives for our high-volume tasting room in Escondido CA. This is a part-time position that focuses on interaction with guests, pouring and selling wine and educating guests, and conducting tours while giving them a great winery experience. 

In addition, but not limited to, we are seeking the following qualifications of applicants:

- Experience in beverage, restaurant, retail industries, preference to wineries
- Must be available weekends, evenings and holidays
- Must be able to speak in front of large groups
- Wine Knowledge highly preferred but not required
- Bartending/Serving/Sales experience a plus
- Professional appearance and courteous, enthusiastic and helpful demeanor
- Willingness to learn
- Experience with POS systems
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize 
- High school diploma

Physical Requirements:

- Must be 21 or over
- Must be able to lift 40+ pounds
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours
