Position: Tasting Room Educator, Fairwinds Estate Winery

Fairwinds Estate winery located in Calistoga, California off of the Silverado Trail seeks Tasting Room Educator to provide excellent customer service and wine education to our guests. Our unique estate offers picnic grounds, wine caves and private events spaces for up to 100 guests and also offers opportunity to grow within the company. Along with those services we also offer an exclusive joint tasting room experience with some of our custom crush clients, which gives us the ability to accommodate every individuals needs.

Position requirements include:

  • Promoting our wines and club memberships.
  • Assist customers, pour, educate and present our wines to tasting room guests.
  • Stocking wine, merchandise and supplies as needed.
  • High school diploma or higher
  • Tasting room, sales or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Cash/POS register experience.
  • To be 21 years of age or older.
  • Able to work weekends, some holidays and maintain a flexible schedule up to 40 hours per week.
  • Average 25-30 hours a week.
  • Ability to lift and move product weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Outreach to local businesses and wineries.
