Position Overview
If you love wine and are passionate about building something new and big – this position is for you. You’ll be a key developer building a consumer-facing website. You must be a highly-motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter with a proven track record of delivering highest quality, scalable solutions. You'll need to be flexible, smart, and tenacious. You’ll be working regularly with senior management, creative design (UI/UX) and other engineering team members, to define and develop solutions and features, so top notch communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
As a start-up, this position has the upside opportunity of taking over responsibility for our engineering team. We want people on board, who have ideas and visions on how to enhance information management for both wineries and wine lovers. We are looking for team members who never settle for the status quo and can continuously take the product to the next level.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of engineering experience with a proven track record of building consumer web applications or services
- Expert in Python (Django) and responsive front end design (Bootstrap, Foundation, etc)
- Experience with version control systems (git) and cloud based services (AWS, Linode, etc)
