We are seeking experienced, high energy and creative professional salespeople with a proven track record of successfully introducing new concepts to existing key account wine buyers in your region.
General requirements
• 5 – 7+ years proven selling success with small and/or mid size wine suppliers selling to key chain and independent buyers in your region.
• An engaged salesperson who is on a first name basis with the key buyers throughout your region. Key buyers are on your speed dial, when you call they pick up the phone.
Seeking candidates with a proven track record of:
• Successfully introducing and launching innovative brand concepts. • Successfully launching new brands.
• Successfully growing promoted and non-promoted portfolios to a budget.
• Successfully managing portfolios to optimal brand mix.
• Introducing and growing wine brands in the national and regional chain as well as independent key account retail settings.
• Successfully introducing and selling private/control brands as well as national brands
• Implementing successful sales plans to grow company revenue over time in both chain and independent key account settings.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Strong project management skills combined with an accountable “can do” attitude; completing projects on time and on budget.
• Knowledge of and experience leading and selling alcohol beverages at both the wholesale and retail level is a plus but not a requirement.
