Qualifications
Job is based in California's North Coast winegrowing area and does not offer relocation assistance
Enthusiasm for and strong technical knowledge of winemaking required
Degree and/or winemaking experience preferred, but not required
Experience selling to customers in the wine industry with demonstrated success required
Interpersonal discipline required to coordinate multiple stakeholders
Ability to learn and use computer and communication technology effectively
Job Description
Develops and maintains technical expertise in Employer's offerings
Suggests new offerings and assists with evaluation of opportunities and suppliers where appropriate
Sets budget for travel and sales expenses in collaboration with COO
Maintains and develops market intelligence database
Is accountable for time and expenses
Manages key accounts for maintenance and optimization
Recruits new accounts
Manages Inside and Outside sales SOPs and activities
Coordinates effectively with inside support team to ensure customer satisfaction
Communicates market intelligence effectively to executive team
Collaborates with all stakeholders to maintain constant improvement
Maintains relationship with key clients to serve and support their winemaking goals
Identifies and maintains new key accounts
Travel required, including overnight
