Reports to: VP of Sales, Winery Services
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage in-bound requests from listings and referral networking
- Expand custom crush and alternating proprietor business
- Develop bulk and custom finished wine business
- Balance inside & outsides sales with emphasis on ability to prospect and gain new accounts by initiating phone and email conversations
- Exercise exceptional talents and expertise in developing new business
- Use entrepreneurial spirit with desire to consistently knock down new business
- Align business objectives and sales goals
- Exude a positive and pro-team work spirit
- Consistently ensures internal sales database is updated and properly maintained for all accounts, contacts and opportunities
- Interact closely with key brokers to improve relationship by providing samples, pricing, updated inventory, and wine technical data
- Act as a professional liaison between Terravant and clients
- Represent Terravant in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/STRENGTHS
- 2+ years wine industry sales experience required
- College degree or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
