Center of Effort Wines is seeking harvest help for the upcoming 2017 vintage. We are a boutique winery and custom crush operation located in the Edna Valley AVA in California. Founded in 2008, we specialize in handcrafted, estate grown Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in addition to custom processing and bulk wine storage for client wineries.
Applicants must be able to work long, variable hours, including weekends, be motivated, punctual, and work well alone and with a small team. Employees must be comfortable with heights, confined spaces, variable temperatures, and be able to lift and carry 50lbs safely. 
Harvest duties include: fruit sorting, operating crush equipment, fermentation management including punch downs and pump overs, wine and juice transfers, bulk wine intake and dispatch, additions, inoculations, cleaning, sanitation and barrel work.
Length of employment varies according to the season, but will most likely begin mid-August and continue through November. Expect seasonal full time employment with overtime compensation.
