Sous Chef position
For our wonderful casual fine dining seafront restaurant in Sonoma county we are looking for a motivated Sous Chef to operate our kitchen, we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and hold various function and weddings during the year.
Job Summary:

The Sous Chef is responsible for food quality and presentation off the restaurant and all catering activities. Responsible include developing and writing initial recipes.

Job Duties:
Ensure kitchen operations are run on a day to day basis maintaining high food standards.
|
· Monitor costs to insure planned cost percentage is maintained.
· Insure that all health and safety standards are met.
· Staff planning.
· recipe development.
· Function menu development and cost calculations.
· Performs additional tasks as required.

Job Requirement:
Culinary degree plus 2 years experience, previous supervisor experience and restaurant P&L knowledge preferred. Individual must be creative and progressive.
