We are a small a growing National Wine Mfg. from California.

Our ideal candidate should have a great knowledge of wine and wholesale wine distribution with solid verbal communication skills and understanding of the WINE DISTRIBUTION industry. Desired personality traits of the applicant should be entrepreneurial oriented, energetic, fun, smart, flexible, enthusiastic, and self-motivated to succeed along with an eagerness to grow brands. Basic computer skills and minimal travel required. Position is home-based with flexible work schedule. Compensation is based on performance and sales.

Regional Wine Sales Manager will report to National Sales Director while working with distributors in several states within region to grow independent markets, on-premise and chain sales through continued follow-up and dedicated support.

Our team of independent sales professionals will sell our brands through a network of distributors renowned for excellent account service and market penetration. Brokers with established portfolios are welcome.

TERRITORY:

We seek one broker representative in the Easter United States. The position will be representing our portfolio to our established wholesale network. Candidate will focus 100% on new product placement, depletions and expansion of brands in designated markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Drive sales growth through new account distribution, as well as customer retention

· Work with distributor sales teams to ensure Maverick Wine Group’s products are receiving placements in off and on premise accounts.

· Work independently on the street presenting and selling the Maverick Wine Group Portfolio.

· Manage distributor relationships.

· Work with SVP of Sales and Regional Manager to establish goals, incentive programs and depletion objectives for distributors.

· Implement quarterly pricing and programs to distributor.

· Present pre-sells and new items to distributor management and sales staff.

· Organizing supplier visits.

· Minimum field work in each market every six weeks.

· Provide monthly market reports

· Review program results and recap with Regional Manager.

· Review distributor orders, inventory levels, depletions and making appropriate recommendations

· Maintain monthly calendars for market-rides, new item presentations and sales kick-off.

· Conduct wine dinners, retail account tastings, trade shows, demonstrations and sales meetings initiated by company.

· Manage and schedule in store tastings.

· Review program results and recap with monthly market reports to Regional Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in wholesale and/or supplier wine sales.

· Strong knowledge of on-premise, retail, independent and chain sales.

· Strong social and selling skills with unique ability to build relationships with wholesale representatives, restaurants and independent retail customers.

· Ability to prioritize schedule and work independently to grow sales, self-motivated.

COMPENSATION: 100% Commission Based + Bonus. We offer a competitive commission structure plus bonus. Profit Sharing with potential of brand ownership. All positions will be compensated as independent contractors.
